About us

A UK resource for studio production in motion

newslura brings together working broadcast professionals who teach practical studio skills for television news and live shows.

Our story

newslura began in a busy newsroom, where the best crews were not the ones with the newest kit but the ones with the clearest routines. We turned those routines into training, setup packages and workflow guides that any UK studio can use.

  • Built by camera operators, lighting directors and gallery producers
  • Focused on television news and live shows
  • Serving studios across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

What we stand for

Calm on air

We design routines that hold up when a bulletin changes minutes before transmission.

Learn by doing

Every session happens on live kit with real scripts, cues and timings.

One crew

Floor, gallery and engineering learn together, so handovers stay smooth.

The crew

Our team is the best in the business.

Working gallery and floor professionals who teach the way they work on air: calmly, precisely and together.
